The work is a catalogue of little things I notice or think about day to day and mark down to remember. Some formatted in the shapes of signage existing in the background of the environments the subject matter is first encountered in. Repeating shapes and patterns are stenciled like a print, architectural detail described with sewn seams, organic material painted by hand. What Comes to Mind in my view of reality. Bill Rebholz I’m an artist in Los Angeles, California. My work is influenced by time spent working as an illustrator, in sign lettering and murals, combined with an interest in crafts and folk art. It offers an interpretation of the surrounding world through a simple, graphic and tactile vernacular.
